When I'm walking around the school to find the drill squad today, I see nothing, but heard the song sang by you guys loudly and clearly. Seriously, I couldn't really hold on my tears, I'm touched. Why I'm touched? It is because of a guy.

Today, I'm here talking about L/cpl Tong Soon Kai aka Side Sgt Tong Soon Kai... =)

So, who is he?

He's one of the best and legendary president ever. He is one of the president who was not in the EXCO a year before his presidency.


So, who is he to me? Soon Kai is actually a squad member of my squad in 2006. I know him at that time, and I only have one comment, SIAO KIA. He's the most passionate BB member I know at that time.

Soon Kai did disappoint me for quite a lot of times, but not anymore. When he was a member, who did all those siao stuff; when he grow older, he tried to avoid responsibilities.

As time goes by, he has proven himself well. Before AGM 2009, we interviewed him for the position Chairman. Surprisingly, he rejected. We tried to convince him and encourage him quite a lot, but not really successful. Last but not least, we prayed for him. For what people see, it may be a disaster to CLBU01, but finally we see that it's a blessing instead.

Promotion to L/cpl in October 2009, BB Sunday

Honestly, I wanted to surrender now. He actually did better than me. When I go back to CLBU01 for visitation, I can actually see the whole BB is more active and lively than in the past. The system is so strict and yet efficient than my time. Besides, the relationship between the members are quite close too, it's a good sign. We can see all these from the very recent sketch presented by the TIMPAH KIA in Enrolment Day 2010.

Soon Kai is now actually a senior NCO in NCO Council

As I see the progression of PSC Drill Competition Squad of our company today, I was shocked, they improved so fast. If it's not God who listen to our prayer, they/you wouldn't do it well. And of course, this incident also proven Soon Kai's leadership.

Soon Kai did not disappoint me anymore since 2009, as you guys know that my expectation is high. What he did is special, it's beyond my expectation, and I'll say I LOVE IT!

Dear Lcpl Tong Soon Kai,

Best Achiever of Enrolment Sunday 2010 =)

Please do not underestimate yourself, you are a humble and good leader. You lead by example, and you show your passion in every part of BB you serve. Together, we give you a salute! Although it's not suppose to be in Drill Manual, but this is exception for the sign of respect. :) Soon Kai is one of the best chairman in CLBU01 history!
